More than 130 years ago, today's Laib Yala Tricot AG started operations as a warp knitting company in Amriswil. The fashionable ladies' dresses as well as the ladies' and men's underwear were marketed under the Yala brand.

Today the small family business focuses on the production of knitted fabrics and the original Swiss pointed caps named Swiss Cap's.
